Disney’s allereerste latinaprinses is eindelijk een feit en ze ziet er stunning uit. Het was Gina Rodriguez, die je wellicht kent als hoofdrolspeelster in ‘Jane The Virgin’, die een afbeelding van de Elena van Avalor op Instagram postte.

Gina Rodriguez, zelf van Puerto Ricaanse afkomst, is enorm trots op de eerste latina Disney-prinses: ‘Feeling really blessed the Latino community has a princess for our little ladies all over the globe,’ klinkt het op Instagram. ‘A fierce, strong and intelligent princess.’

I have so many incredible friends who have been a part of this project and together we can make sure it has a long lasting life on screen!
